Olympics Medals: Valerie Adams

Did you know that New zealand shot-putter "Gold Medals" Valerie Adams has her gold back and all thanks to that lady from Belarus! Before she was given the gold medal the olympics tested for drugs all of the people who came first, second and third in shot-putt it turned out that Nadzeya Ostapchuk took drugs!

We were so lucky to get six gold medals at the London Olympics. We were also proud that Valerie Adams has still been the best world shot-putter. I hope that next olympics games that she will keep on winning until she retires and this is from all the people from New zealand, good work!

Immersion Assembly

It was a cold and wet day. All of Pt England school had an Immersion Assembly. It all started from Team 1 through to Team 5. They were all about the olympic games. We watched movies and skits but the most interested of all was all of the people from NZ that came first, second and third in the Olympic Games. They all gave 100% because champions never give up

But there was one movie that really inspired me. Jesse Owens was the fastest person in the world. He Isn't anymore because he is too old but in 1936 he won all his races at the olympic Game. His first games was in Germany where the Nazi's were most of the crowd watching him. I think that I am like Jesse Owens!

Maths whizz

Math whizz is a math site that kids my age play on at school and at home. It is very cool because you can learn new things and play games. You can also play with people from all over the world. Go for Green

Every term in Room 16 we have an auction and I all wish is to win! There are toy games and the greatest prize of all time history is a movie ticket. Isaiah from Pt England school is going to get that movie ticket. If you don't believe me I will bet you $5. You better owe me because I am right! I am in the lead I think. I am hope I am anyway.

Lets get back to the point. Hey point! That's just like my school 'Point' England school. O man I mucked up again!  Anyway get back to the story and that's final!

Last term I had the most green cards and I plan to have the most again. Oops I forgot to tell you about our Room 16 auction, silly me! Your title is go for green. If you cant read it because it is to small I am about to write it in big for you.  GO FOR GREEN Now can you see it?
We have this so that we school can be much funner for kids in middle school.

AFL

AFL!!! It’s so much fun. All of the classes have had a lesson with an awesome instructor who has come to teach Pt England School AFL. When Room 16 got the chance for the first time this year. There was a lot of excitement because AFL is one of my favorite sports. When we had gotten to the court we had to wait for the other class to come and then it’s our turn to have our lesson.

Yeah as most of us replied but before we had our lesson we had to warm up. It was so cool because we got to play a game and the game that we were playing was octopus. But instead of a hand you had to use a ball and the funny thing is that we were learning to do a drop punt.

Art Alive

This term PT England School's topic is called "Art Alive". This is when we learn how to draw and learn about other artists. It’s fun because we can learn new things about art like we did last term. So far we have learnt about an artist and his name is Fatu Feu’u. He is one of the best artists in samoa and his drawings are amazing. Art Alive is one of the best topic’s of the year!

Swimming

Walking down to Glen Innes pools I felt so tired and bored. When we got there Mr S said go and get changed. Sadly, I was not allowed to go for a swim because I have grommets in my ears. I walked over to watch them as they got in. They had to get into groups. As I realised I didn't have to write lines me and Shayne went and sat on the bench to watch them swim. I felt very jealous! 

After half an hour it was time to go back to school. "Yeah!" I said. I was so happy that we could go back

to school. But I knew that we were going back to the pools tomorrow.

Hi my name is Isaiah. My favourite playstation game is wrestling 2008. I like the game because it's cool and fun. The coolest entertainer of all time I think is Batista.
He's special move is the Batista bomb. Batista's nickname is the Animal because he's tough and cool. People around the world think he is so scary. I think he is the the best in the world at what he does. I nearly watched the whole series of my favourite summer slams. He's the best. Cool aye!!

Hi my name is Isaiah. My Favourite subject is sport because I like playing rugby and I'm good at it. I have three sisters and five brothers including myself. I live far away from the school. My birthday is on march the 15th and I was born in NZ. My nationality is kiwi and my eye colour is brown Some people in the school are my friends. My best's friend is Brandon. My Favourite programme is spongebob squarepants because it's funny. Last Year my teacher was Miss King but most of the time I was in the office doing work. It was boring and you know what I wish I never did that.
