A.F.L Every Thursdays in the hall we have (A.F.L) which stand for Australian football league. Our Instructor’s names is Tim. Tim teachers moves to our class like faces away from laces which means the lace of the ball has to be away from your head,point your toe to where you want the ball to go so that means if you point your toe to the person that you want the ball to go to it will go straight to them and lastly the ice cream scoop.

Every time we play A.F.L our coach Tim would tell us that we would always have to do warm ups so we can get warm so we can take off our jackets and we will be warm. The first warm up game we did was called traffic lights the game was called that because our coach would be in the middle saying Green which means go, Yellow which means slow down and of course red which means stop. But some times when he says red which means stop some kids would still go which means they would have got a speeding ticket from the police.

Even this week we have it and  bet you it going to be fun because Tim showed us last week how to pass better and more straighter than i could before. this week I think Tim will be on a little break and we would get a new instructor because on our first session was with a girl named Emily but i think Tim is way more better than her.

Usually our time with our instructors would only be 45 minutes but it feels like it only 10 minutes when we're having so much fun. I like it when it we go to play A.F.L because we get less time to do school work and more time having fun but that's just  why I like playing A.F.L I like playing it because i get to show off my skills.

My goals for 2014

My goals for 2014 is to achieve! This year I am going to try and achieve the following goals so I can be better in my last year at Pt England School.

1. To get better at reading .

2. To try and be the best at rugby

3. I would also like to try and improve on my writing.

4.  Last but not least, I  would like to improve on my behaviour unlike what I did last year. If I improve my behaviour I think I will get better marks on my report.

My holidays

Splish splash the water going all over me Can you guess where i am I’m at the pools With My cousin. Water all over me I had no choice but to jump in “Bombs away” I said when I got inside the pool I Swam deep down when i got near the bottom I could feel the water rushing up against me. Up I went to take  breath.Then back down as I was swimming my cousin said lets go so I springed  out like a bouncing kangaroo  walked to my bag and got changed and went to his house I ask his mum if I could stay the night here  and it was a yes. “This

holiday can not get any better I say Nek minute were mcdonalds for dinner yes again”

Badminton

What start’s with batmin and end’s with ton can you guess badminton that’s what. Today The year 7 & 8 kid’s from ptengland school went to a badminton session in the hall our tutor’s name was Rob he played for the Auckland badminton team he talked for little while and gave the badminton bats out . Eagerly waiting for a bat and shuttle I bragged to my friends that “I'm  the best at a badminton”

The first Lesson that my class did was learning our hand movement like Backhand and many more that I can not remember. looking at at Rob as he is teaching the hand movements I suddenly get bored so I try and entertain myself by playing with my bat and shuttle “1 bounce 2 bounce 3 bounce fail snap” I say out loud “ow kid” Rob say’s as

I reply “yeah” are you listening” “yip”. After he was finished talking we had to get are

partner and hit it to them.

The person I picked was one of my best friend Bailee bell which I think is

better than me at badminton na jokes “i’ll beat him any day i think” anyway

let back to writing so I got my partner and we made a competition of who

could the most hit’s in one go. The most hit’s I did was 18 my friend got 21

but i was just going easy.

Immersion assembly

Good morning and welcome back to school Pt England kids.The theme for this year is I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT!said Mr Burt "I'm a the balloon man’’ because in assembly hall there were heaps and heaps of balloons under a peace of tape. Little kids were trying to touch them and play with them.

As Mr Burt was talking he was holding a little new York taxis up which was a toy and it had balloons

on it. I think the amount of balloons which were on it was 15 then then Mr Burt told Levi and Isara had to put more balloons on it to make it float in to the air the amount on the balloons then was 17 up up anyway the balloon taxi went floating then all the prefects went around cut the rest of balloons and they went floating as well.
