Olympic voice over

Boxing is an olympic event where there are two people on each side. They try to hit the opponent to score more points. It is a really dangerous sport because you can get really hurt or your body could get damaged . But you will also have to have good teammates to help your body recover. It is good to always keep your eyes on your opponent from when the bells go until one to three minutes are over.

If you would like to try and play in the olympic boxing you will have to have a mouth guard so your teeth won't get knocked out a pair of boxing gloves so your knuckles won’t get hurt you will also need a boxing helmet to keep your head safe.Boxing is an olympic event there are two people on each side try

Olympics Medals: Valerie Adams

Did you know that New zealand shot-putter "Gold Medals" Valerie Adams has her gold back and all thanks to that lady from Belarus! Before she was given the gold medal the olympics tested for drugs all of the people who came first, second and third in shot-putt it turned out that Nadzeya Ostapchuk took drugs!

We were so lucky to get six gold medals at the London Olympics. We were also proud that Valerie Adams has still been the best world shot-putter. I hope that next olympics games that she will keep on winning until she retires and this is from all the people from New zealand, good work!

Immersion Assembly

It was a cold and wet day. All of Pt England school had an Immersion Assembly. It all started from Team 1 through to Team 5. They were all about the olympic games. We watched movies and skits but the most interested of all was all of the people from NZ that came first, second and third in the Olympic Games. They all gave 100% because champions never give up

But there was one movie that really inspired me. Jesse Owens was the fastest person in the world. He Isn't anymore because he is too old but in 1936 he won all his races at the olympic Game. His first games was in Germany where the Nazi's were most of the crowd watching him. I think that I am like Jesse Owens!
