3 highlight of 2013

My biggest highlight of learning would have to be when we had studyladder that was so cool because we had online reading and writing and we could dress our person up

also maths whizz because it helps me with the fractions,adding and subtracting and the last one is Extra maths which also help’s me with maths t help me with addition,multiplication.

My Three Highlight

My Three Highlight of the year are the following , firstly is athletic's because it's fun and sporty. My best event was sprint's I came 4th.

Another highlight for me is that I got to go to action world, the best thing at action world was Jump n slide this was a big bounce castle.

My last highlight is that I made a big improvement in maths, the best thing i like about maths is fractions.

Action world

Last week on Friday the Year 7’s went to Action World because the Year 8’s had gone to Rotorua for their camp and it was a special day out just for the Year 7's. Action world is a   place where there were lots of activities like the crazy ladder, free climb, trapeze, high wire, jump 'n slide and last but not least, the jousting bridge. 

First thing we had to do was to sit down have a little snack then take our shoes off then we would have to get in groups and rotate around.

The first thing I did was the Jungle Swing. We had to practice landing on our back. I think that there were 20 people in our group and it was so easy to do. The second thing we did was the crazy ladder, when you get  there you may think it’s easy but once you try it is quite challenging.

Swimming

During swimming I have learnt to breath on both side’s it was hard but i managed to do it after a while we learnt how to do backstroke when we need to breath. We had to swim 200 metres but i couldn't so i just swam 100 meters. In the future i think i can get better.

What’s that noise

What’s that noise.

Waking up in the middle of the night hearing a Whisper from outside. I hopped out  bed and run down stair to go and check what was that noise soon the got louder and  said “I’m in the woods”. Walking in to the woods i heard the whisper again.

Freaking out but still eager to find what that Whisper was I quickly dodged  all tree’s stick and rock’s. Finding  out what was Whispering was going to be harder than I thought Lost in the woods not knowing the back to my home I Didn't have a choice but to find that Whisper.

Lost from home I started to panic. Looking around I saw a shadow running away  I was tired but still wanted to find Who was making the Whisper so I followed the shadow all the way to the center out the  of the wood’s puffed out I could hardly breath I saw the shadow stop.

Looking around I still couldn't find what that  noise was lost in the wood’s I knew that i would never my back home. Just then I heard someone laughing I followed the laugh and it lead me a camp with my friends Texas and jacob laughing out loud they saw me walking surprise said  Texas and jacob as i was frightened whisper again ha what was that whisper that i just heard what that’s  just the owls that’s the whisper.

My holidays

This is my holiday highlights

On the first week of the school holidays I had chicken pox. It was so boring because I couldn't go river side camp or be in the school production and so i was in for a long boring holiday. But on Wednesday morning my chicken pox where all held.I thought to myself time to have fun.

I hopped out of bed put clothes on and ran to the kitchen to have breakfast. Then i realised what i was going to do today. I quickly ran to my room put clothes in my bag and went to my cousin

house. we played outside then went to the pools.

Splish splash the water going all over me I had no choice but to jump in “Bombs away” i said when i got in i Swam deep down when i got near the bottom i could feel the water rushing up against me. Up i went to take deep breath.Then back down as i was swimming my cousin said lets go so i jumped out so i quickly jump out walk to my bag and got changed and went to his house i ask his mum if i could stay the night here  and it was a yes.

I think i did really well on my writing the only thing i need to work on is
my i's and my hook but overall i did really well :^)

Rainbow warrior bombing

On one tragic midnight in 1985 greenpeace were celebrating the director of anti-nuclear movement’s 29th birthday. While they were partying two French government spies in scuba gear were planting two limpet bombs on the bottom of Greenpeace ship the Rainbow Warrior.

Later on  one limpet bomb went off and knocked one of the crew ship member off his cheer. He went to go look what was going on “ABANDON SHIP,ABANDON SHIP “

he yelled because he saw water bursting out all of them jumped off except for one person Fernando pereira. After 4 minutes the second bomb went off sadly Fernando pereira died.  

After a while the two government spies got caught by police and sent to jail for 10 years but got moved back to france and we to jail for two years.  

Cross country

Yesterday we did cross country as soon as the lunchtime bell went we had to go to the court and lined up from 5 year olds all the way to the year 8’s at first it took long because we had to find out where we were running. Finally we could watch how was running fist went five year olds than six year olds all the way up my group year 7’s.

Going up to the starting line i was petrified thinking what was about to come Mr burt said a few words then he said una marks get set go running i looked behind me and i saw that i was in the lead.

I ran as hard as i could as soon as i came up to the gate a boy past me i was so tired that i stop and took a deep breath as heaps of people past me i still ran the race coming 11th was too bad i said all that matters is that i did it.

Maths Goal

My super duper maths goal is to complete my xtra maths this term and studdyladder.

Learning decimals

I am Learning decimals  that add up to 10 for example  6.6 + 3.4 = 10

My goal for next term at maths is decimal. And to do that  i need to listen

Goldilocks and the three pigs

Once upon a time in a land far far away there lived a little girl named Goldilocks. She was a slave to her evil step mum. One day she was so sad that she ran away from home. She was so hungry that the trees looked like food.

As she was running she came upon a house made out of  candy. She stopped at the door and knocked. Out came a sweet old lady and said " come inside my child  you look hungry. Here, eat anything you want" “No” Goldilocks said I must be going now. “Why so soon?”  said the lady. Thanks but I have to go now, then the sweet old lady brag out her wand a flick it at the door the door shut “ahh ha ha ha i’m a witch” goldilocks ate half of the door and ran.   

Her heart was beating 24'7 As The witch was right behind her then. She saw another house she jumped through the door and looked around and hoped that no one was home, then she got up and walked around. As she was walking she saw bowls of soup.  A big bowl,A medium bowl, and a small bowl. first she tried the big bowl ahh too hot then she tried the  medium bowl yuck too cold  then she tried the last which was the small bowl delicious, thats perfect. Then she was so tired and went up stairs and saw 3 bed’s. She tried The first one ,But it was too hard, then the Second one, but it was too Soft, Lastly the Third one Just perfect she   said.

They decided to look around some more and when they got upstairs to the bedroom, Papa Pig growled, "Someone's been sleeping in my bed," "Someone's been sleeping in my bed, too" said the Mama Pig "Someone's been sleeping in my bed and she's still there!" Baby Pig.  Just then, Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears.  She screamed, "Help!"  And she jumped up and ran out of the room.  Goldilocks ran down the stairs, opened the door, and ran away into the forest.  And she never returned to the home of the three Pig.

Billy Slater

One of my favourite players in the N.R.L is Billy Slater. He was born   in Nambour, Queensland.  He is an Australian professional rugby league player. I like him because of his cool moves. 
The best  move I like is when he dodges the other teams  player. He plays for Melbourne Storms and His position is fullback. The fullback hangs back and waits for a kick. If there is a kick he  catches  the ball and runs for the try line.  SCORE! THE CROWD GOES WILD.

Yesterday a very special person came to P.T ENGLAND SCHOOL OMG. At first I didn’t know who it was but as soon as the camera crews came I knew it was someone important. When Mr. Burt said to everyone do you know about the BLACK EYE PEAS right then I knew who it could be the I.AM ANGEL poster kind of gave it away.

I was ULTRA MEGA EXCITED when the one and only WILL.I.AM came. He is like my hero. I loved his presentation his life story was sad and cool at the same. It is great that he said the we need friends.

WILL.I.AM is my inspiration. When I feel sad or when I’m bored I listen to his music I think I could be just like him when I am older or be a scientist.

WILL.I.AM and his foundation I.AM ANGEL is very generous. WILL.I.AM is My hero. Thank you a lot WILL.I.AM.

Camp Argument

In our opinion we  thinking we should have a year 7 and 8 camp. It would be great to have camp this year because we get to have new experiences.  We also get to learn outdoors with our friends and play some new and interesting games. Camp is also a great time to have fun with our friends.

Camp gives us  an opportunity to learn new and creative games .We learn best when we're outdoors during the morning and afternoon.The best part I like is learning  new skills.

Another  great  reason to have a year 7 and 8 camp you get to learn a little bit more of your friend. But we also get to eat delicious food

Most importantly camp gives you time to  be responsible for your self and to be  helpful.It’s also a time when we get to practise  using your  W.I.T.S. But the most capable thing that you should is listen because you might forget what the instruction was you have to do.

We know that camp cost heaps but we could still pay it weakly. It’s like that for a reason it pays off our breakfast ,dinner and trips. Hopefully we could get repay that money back and give it back to our mum or dad .

Hopefully next year our parents will get to talk about camp at home-school-partnership.

So therefore we think that we should have a camp.

assassin's creed 3 a thousand pound idea

Assassin's creed is a game that I like to play on ps3 it is one of the top games in the world I like to play it because is fun ,cool and hard. In my house we had assassin's creed 2 on ps3 and I was like a game freak at it so yeah my favourite stage was the assassin's creed 3 a thousand pound idea. so who ever made assassin's creed 3 your the best :^).

My friend Billy

My friend Billy is 12 years old, he has short brown hair, brown eyes and dark brown skin and a big goofy smile. He’s not very tall but is taller than some people in our class.

Billy is the kind of person who is cool because he’s fun and always makes people smile,  he always helps with my work, he’s kind to others and smart because he knows all his basic facts

Billy is interested in skateboarding at the panmure skate park. He also likes to play touch, one of my favourite things to do with him.

Isiah Writing Sample - Doc

One mysteries day at home making a peanut butter sandwich I saw my bread disappear there goes another thing that just disappeared I quickly ran to my antihy but she disappeared as well I was frightened so I picked the phone and called 911 then that disappeared why is everything disappeared maybe is my brother na he’s in australia what if he came back and he’s play tricks on me . So I made a list of all the things that went missing. Thing that went missing cake,candle,mum,bread,phone. I wonder how these are going away what a minute this all must be a dream so I pinched myself and I woke up in my bed so i was dream wow something just disappeared jokes.

so throughout the year i can look back as see how good I am

Huffing and puffing running as fast as I could trying to get a try. Looking back I saw a boy right behind me sweating hard out it felt like it was raining on me so I leaped with a dive and I scored. The crowd went wild!.

My first experience at technology.

My first experience at technology.

On tuesday 12 of february half of room 22 went to technology
as soon as i heard that I was in cooking i was over excited.
As we were walking to tamaki college me and my friend Ben
saw a snapback but we just kept on walking. finally  we arrived
at T.C  we sat by the bench’s and then there a man named Mr Dunn. We sat in row’s for food,wood,graphics, of cause sat in food but then Mr Dunn changed it around. I was in wood with
Mr grundy. I was so sad because i was in wood. But it ended up good.

Goals

My learning goal for this term is to  improve on my behavior. To achieve my goal I need to look and listen to the teacher.  

Why PE is good for me.

Today I spent some time thinking about Why PE is good for me and so I i went to Mrs Nua because I was in trouble so she told me to sit down and right some ideas of why PE is good for you and this is what I came up with these it's fun
and you get better at the sport that you are doing this year.
